Floor and wall tiling
in the Overberg.
Good tiling starts with understanding the surface, the room and how the area will be used. Tell us whether you need new tiles laid, existing tiles replaced or an area repaired. Include whether the work is on walls or floors, indoors or outdoors, and any concerns about uneven surfaces or moisture.

MAKE A LITTLE ROOM FOR POSSIBILITY
Let’s find the right fit.
Share the approximate area and the type or size of tile you are considering. Existing coverings, thresholds and adjoining floors can all affect the preparation and finished result.
Ask the contractor what the quotation includes for removal, surface preparation, trims, adhesive, grout and waste disposal. Where tiling forms part of a bathroom renovation, clarify who is responsible for waterproofing and plumbing coordination.
Agree the layout and finish before installation. Your contractor should confirm measurements and discuss suitability and material requirements directly with you.
How the introductions workA FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
Your questions, answered.
Can a small damaged area be repaired?
Describe the damage and whether you have matching spare tiles. A contractor will need to assess the condition and what repair is practical before quoting.
Should I order tiles before requesting a quote?
You can share your preferred tile with the contractor first. Confirm the measured quantity, allowance for cuts and suitability for the surface before placing an order.
Who will I contract with?
You agree the scope, price, timing and terms directly with your chosen independent contractor. Overberg Renovations helps you make that connection; we do not perform the building work.
